Neyoma has always wondered what her purpose might be. Finally ready to set out into the world, she ends up in the densely overgrown continent Phedika. Phedika is a place with a tense history, where oppression and inequality have caused growing conflicts. Shortly after arriving, she meets Wu, a humanlike monkey from another sentient race. In an attempt to help him, she tries to fix problems he didn't want fixed. Her selfishness then gets the both of them in big trouble. To earn their freedom back, the two end up entangled in a conflict that far exceeds them. Finding alliance with Phedika's adventurers guild, Neyoma tries to find the best outcome for everyone involved.
