The Black Dahlias book series, starting with the Suit of Diamonds book, is a passion project of mine. I started writing in 2021, as a way to cope with the boredom of the lockdowns going on at the time. I've made many versions and drafts of this book before I was satisfied with the story I put out.

Regardless of that fact, I don't see Suit of Diamonds as anything nearing a masterpiece. It is apparent to me that there are many flaws and aspects to improve on. I feel many of these originate from lack of foresight. After all, when I started writing I just went with the flow. The puzzle pieces only started falling into place as I went along.

In the sequels, I aim to make even more interesting characters, better stories, and create an even more coherent and interesting world for Neyoma and the Black Dahlias to explore! I already have many ideas in mind, and even in the first book I hint towards a lot of world elements that I plan to explore in later books.

Of course, aside from producing good writing, my main aim is to have a lot of fun and freedom in putting my imagination on paper. I look forward to learning more about how to do this in as best a way as possible.
